The Holiday Inn Resort Aruba is on the long, white sands of Palm Beach. It makes the most of its setting too, with an à la carte grill right by the shore. The pool at this hotel is a biggie and has a step-free ramp – handy if you have kids – and there are a couple of hot tubs on hand, too. Shade on the sun terrace comes courtesy of thatched-roof parasols and leafy palms. As for things to do, this place is big on watersports and there are PADI-approved divers on hand if you fancy exploring Aruba’s reefs.
