The centre of Elounda is approx 4.5km away. If you are looking for total relaxation the Blue Palace will not disappoint. Stunning sea views. Some rooms have a private infinity pool. Half board is a good option which alows you to eat in the Flame (The steak restaurant), Isola (Italian), Blue Door (Greek), or the Chinese restaurant. The Chinese restaurant was disappointing as was the Greek (Blue Door) surprisingly. The hotel is built on a slope with lots of steep steps so more suited to the able bodied. There is a fleet of golf carts to get you around. As the resort is quite remote it is adviseable to hire a car.
