The 3 star Residence La Paix is a traditional Tunisian hotel, full of character, located away from most of the luxury tourist hotels. Studios and apartments have small kitchen area so basic self catering is possible, but if you can get a deal, you could have Full Board from £11.06 p.p.p.n. Hotel is basic but clean. Swimming Pool. Close to beach and short walk to Hammamet. Staff are friendly and helpful.

There are 64 apartments (studios, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom) at the Residence La Paix, set amid the gardens and sleeping 2, 4 or 6 people. All apartments have a balcony or terrace, a bathroom with a bath or shower, a kitchenette with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities; a mini bar, a telephone, satellite TV (on request) and air conditioning.
The studio apartments have an open-plan living area with a French bed and a kitchenette. The 1 and 2 bedroom apartments have a French bed in the bedroom(s) and twin beds in the living area.
Residence La Paix is set in a garden of trees and has an outdoor swimming pool, a sun terrace and a play area for children. Activities include aerobics, billiards and water polo and the hotel can arrange off-site activities such as camel rides, horse riding and golf.
The restaurant offers buffet breakfasts and evening meals or a set menu and there is also an alfresco pizzeria with a large terrace, a pool-side bar with views to the golf course and a beach bar serving drinks and Mediterranean style snacks. The hotel also organises occasional Bedouin nights.
