The 3 star Vilanova Resort in Albufeira may be a little dated, but offers Great Value for Money Holidays in the Algarve. Rooms are spacious clean. Good location. 5 minutes walk to strip and 10 minutes walk to the wonderful beach. No central heating so you need to rely on little heaters if you are there in the winter. 2 and 3 bedroom villas are available.

One of the longest established resorts in the Algarve, with vast, mature gardens and a large swimming pool; ideal for a relaxing holiday and being in the heart of this bustling resort.
Villanova Resort is set in 9 hectares of grounds and well maintained gardens and features a large outdoor swimming pool with a separate pool for children. Further leisure facilities include tennis and football courts, a children’s play area, garden games, a games room with pool tables and an indoor soft play area for toddlers.
The complex has a lounge bar and a pool-side bar and cafe serving drinks, light meals and snacks. During the summer there is evening entertainment a couple of times a week.
Amenities and services available to guests include parking spaces, WiFi (local charge), 24 hour reception, safety deposit box, currency exchange, babysitting, laundry service and lift access to upper floors.
There are 61 villas and 165 apartments at the Villanova Resort. Studio apartments sleep up to 3 guests and come equipped with two sofa beds, satellite TV, a fridge and microwave, a kettle and toaster, an en-suite and a balcony or terrace.
