or there are plenty of places to eat out around the area. Staff are friendly and service is very good. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Beds are hard but this is quite common in Portugal. Not quite the same luxury as you would expect in other 5 star hotels around the world, but it’s all about location, and prices here are more 3 star than 5 star.

Grande Real Santa Eulalia Resort Hotel offers four outdoor heated pools (one seawater), separate children’s pools, grass tennis courts and a fully equipped gym with cardio vascular equipment. The spa offers many treatments and services including sauna, massage, jacuzzi and health and beauty treatment. There is also a games room, a TV lounge and a kids club for ages 3-12.
The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all buffet style (and they can accommodate special diet options). The Pergula restaurant is an a la carte restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine (for dinner only). The hotel offers three pool bars open from 10am to 7pm that also serve snacks (sandwiches, hamburgers, and crepes). The Real bar (with a fine wine cellar) is an elegant bar open from 8am to 1pm and the Mezanino bar (more traditional) is open from 7pm to 2am.
