The Australian Grand Prix has long been a favorite for Formula One fans.
They loved Adelaide, and now they love Melbourne.
During the race weekend, the city is completely taken over by the Grand Prix fever.
Television stations, radio, and newspapers cover the race endlessly.
If the F1 community voted for its Race of the Year they would most likely select the
Australian Grand Prix.
Maybe it`s the people, maybe it`s the weather; maybe it`s because this race brings the new
Championship to life after months of gray, winter testing.
In early March, which is late summer in Australia, there is no
shortage of sunshine.
The track is laid out in a park, 10
minutes by tram from the downtown area, only a short ride
through the leafy avenues of the St. Kilda road area.
The racing
circuit runs around a lake where sailing and boardsailing
displays take place throughout the action-packed weekend.
This circuit has proven to be very popular with the F1 drivers, who
enjoy the fast, sweeping sections alongside the lake.
The Grand Prix is usually just one of the festivals going on
throughout the city.
When the racing is over you can head back
to Collins Street and enjoy the number of excellent restaurants,
explore downtown on the Circle Tram, or relax on the near-by
beach.
Melbourne offers race fans plenty of nightlife, and don`t
miss dining at one of the incredible restaurants or enjoying one
of the delicious wines of the region.
The locals tend to throw a big party when the Grand Prix circus
comes to town with all kinds of special events.
The town hums
with excitement all day and all night.

Located between Turn 1 and 2 on the inside of the track at the
northern end of the main straight. Here, you will be as close as you
can get to all of the action, there is also a view of a giant screen
TV.
Pit Walk: We have secured GP Advantage tickets, which
include access to the Pit Straight to view the F1 Garages. This
exclusive offer is available for both Braham and Jones ticket holders
so book early as these tickets are limited! (Subject to FIA

Guests of the Golden Card embark on a first class adventure into the
world of F1. Each VIP will experience first-class race viewing
