Kuramathi has retained its natural beauty and is the only island resort to offer
a choice of three different places to stay. It is larger than most island
resorts-over one kilometre in length-and the three discreet locations each with
its own unique character and charm. They are all carefully laid out and spaced
so that you might never know the others existed. Wander the narrow winding paths
lined with thick foliage that snake their way across the island. A bus is also
available to shuttle you back and forth should you feel too tired to take a
short hike. Gaze up into the ancient banyan tree and spy the cranes nesting in
the topmost branches. Drift along sandy white beaches and dip your toes in the
water to cool off on a balmy hot day, or turn to catch the cooling sea breezes.
Only then might you chance upon one of the other resorts: the Cottage Club, Blue
Lagoon or Kuramathi Village.
Part of the three resort complex on the island of Kuramathi, the Cottage Club,
with its beach and water bungalows surrounded by lush vegetation and exotic
flora, will provide you with the most beautiful setting in which to enjoy your
holiday. Winding paths, shaded by tall palms and trees, along which you can
wander down to the beach or to one of the other two resorts, take you all across
this island. Guests from the Cottage Club are free to use many of the
restaurants and facilities of the Kuramathi Village and Blue Lagoon resorts,
which share this island. A shuttle bus is also available to take you between the
different resorts.

Beach Cottage: from £27 per person per night
In the Rashdoo atoll due west and about 11/2 hours by
speedboat (or 20 minutes by seaplane at a supplement), from Malé airport. The
Cottage & Spa is one of three resorts on the island of Kuramathi situated
along the eastern shore with its own private pier. One side of the island is
protected by a large shallow sandy lagoon which is perfect for swimming, on the
other side the coral reef is very close and ideal for snorkelling and diving.
You may use any of the facilities of the other two resorts.
